stickman: blue vs red is a browser and mobile game published by glorp llc. the browser section describes the game on poki; the app versions section describes the ios and android apps, including google admob and the optional "remove ads" purchase. the short version: you play without an account, the game keeps its progress on your own device, and nothing personal is sent to us.
nothing personal ever reaches us. the game saves the following on your own device (your browser's local storage, or the app's own storage) so it remembers you between sessions:
this data never leaves your device. we cannot see it, and it is not linked to you as a person. we do not collect names, email addresses or contact details, location, or gameplay analytics, crash reports and telemetry of our own. the game has no chat and no online play.
none by us. no gameplay or personal data is sent to us, so we have nothing to share, sell, or disclose. advertising is handled by poki (on the web) and google admob (in the apps), as described below.
the game itself loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers of its own: its fonts, images, sounds, music and code are bundled with it. on poki.com the surrounding page and the poki sdk make their own network requests for advertising and analytics; in the apps, the google mobile ads sdk does (see the app versions section).
poki (the web version). the game playable on poki.com is hosted by poki b.v., which shows the ads (a short break as a run starts, and an optional revive video) and measures how the game performs, under its own policy: poki's privacy statement. the apps contain no poki code.
google admob (the app versions), described below. no other third parties.
the game is a cartoon brawler with comic, bloodless violence. it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. the apps are not directed at children under 13 (see below); advertising on poki is handled by poki under its own policies for younger players.
the stickman: blue vs red apps for ios and android are the same game as on poki, with one difference: advertising in the apps is provided by google admob (google llc / google ireland limited) instead of poki. in the apps, we ask for no personal information and run no servers, analytics or tracking of our own.
what admob collects. to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the google mobile ads sdk inside the app collects and processes, under google's own policies:
this data goes to google, not to us. we receive only aggregate reports (for example how many ads were shown and the revenue they earned), never data about you as a person. how google uses information from apps that use its services. google's privacy policy.
your consent. if you are in the european economic area, the united kingdom or switzerland, the app shows google's consent form (the user messaging platform) the first time you open it, before any ad is requested, and you can accept or refuse personalized advertising. you can change your choice at any time from the pause menu: tap the "..." button, then "privacy settings". where required by us state privacy laws, a similar choice is offered.
tracking on ios. on iphone the app asks, once, whether it may use your device's advertising identifier to show you more relevant ads (apple's app tracking transparency prompt). if you choose "ask app not to track", the idfa is not shared and you still see ads, which are less personalized. you can change this at any time in the ios settings app under privacy & security → tracking.
ads in the apps. your first few runs have no ads at all. after that, a video ad may play as a run starts (fight, continue, or restart run), never in the middle of a fight. the revive video on the "u ded" screen is always your choice and plays only when you tap it; if no ad is available, you are revived anyway. there is no banner.
remove ads (in-app purchase). the apps offer one optional purchase, "remove ads", which removes the ads between runs (the revive video stays available, because it is your choice). the purchase is made and processed entirely by apple (app store) or google (google play) under their own terms and privacy policies; we never see or receive your payment details, name or account. the app stores a note on your device that you own it, and asks the store whether you own it when the app starts, so that "restore purchase" and a reinstall bring it back. we receive only the store's sales reports (for example the number of purchases and their revenue by country).
your choices on android. you can reset or delete your advertising id in the android settings (settings → google → ads, or security & privacy → privacy → ads, depending on the device).
children. the apps are not directed at children under 13 and are not part of apple's kids category or google play's designed for families programme; ad content is limited to google's "teen" rating or lower.
links. the pause menu's "..." menu opens this privacy policy in an in-app browser. the web version on poki contains no external links.
depending on where you live (for example under the gdpr, the uk gdpr, or the ccpa) you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. since we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access or delete. if you believe we hold personal data about you, contact us and we will respond. for data handled by poki or google, use the options described in their policies.
on the web, clear your browser's site data for the page you play on. in the apps, uninstalling the app removes everything the game stored on your device. data processed by google under its own policies can be managed through your google account and device settings as described above.
if the game changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
