the lines we draw — privacy policy

last updated: november 3, 2026

the lines we draw is a short browser game published by glorp llc and played on poki. it is built to be played without an account and without giving us any personal information. the game remembers a few small things in your own browser, and nothing is sent to us. advertising and site analytics on poki are provided by poki under poki's own privacy policy.

1. information we collect

nothing personal ever reaches us. the game saves only the following in your browser's local storage, so it remembers you between visits:

  • which of the game's endings you have found.
  • your settings: language, and whether sound and music are on.

the lines you draw and erase exist only while you play. they are never saved or sent anywhere. this data never leaves your browser, we cannot see it, and it is not linked to you as a person. clearing your browser's site data for the game removes it.

we do not collect names, email addresses or contact details, location data, device or advertising identifiers, or gameplay analytics, crash reports and telemetry of our own. the game has no chat and no online play.

2. information we share

none by us. no gameplay or personal data is sent to us, so we have nothing to share, sell, or disclose. advertising and measurement on the poki platform are handled by poki, not by us. we receive only aggregate, non-identifying statistics from poki about how the game performs, such as average play time.

3. network use

the game itself is a single static web page served over https. it makes no network requests of its own and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers — its fonts, sounds, and code are all bundled with the game. when you play on poki.com or a poki partner site, the surrounding page and the poki sdk make their own network requests for advertising and analytics.

4. third parties

poki. the lines we draw is hosted and distributed by poki b.v. the poki platform and the poki sdk provide advertising (short ad breaks, for example when you start over), site analytics, and performance measurement. to do this, the poki sdk tells poki about gameplay events, such as play starting or stopping. that processing is done by poki, not by us, and is governed by poki's privacy statement.

no other third parties. the game loads no other third-party scripts or trackers of its own.

5. children's privacy

the lines we draw is suitable for all ages. because the game itself collects no personal information, we collect none from children, including children under 13 (coppa) or under 16 in the eea and uk (gdpr). advertising and measurement on the poki platform are handled by poki in accordance with applicable children's privacy laws, as described in poki's privacy statement.

6. cookies

the game itself sets no cookies. it uses browser local storage only for the on-device data described above. poki's platform may set cookies as described in poki's privacy policy and cookie notice.

7. your choices and rights

  • delete your data: clear your browser's site data (local storage) for the site where you play. this resets the endings you have found and your settings.
  • ads and ad preferences on the poki platform are managed by poki.
  • your rights: depending on where you live, for example under the gdpr, the uk gdpr, or the ccpa, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, port, or delete. if you believe we hold personal data about you, contact us and we will respond.

for data handled by poki, please use the options described in poki's privacy statement.

8. security

the game is a static web application served over https. it sends no data to us and has no server-side component of its own, so there is no personal data on our side to secure.

9. changes to this policy

if the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy — for example if we add online features — we will update this policy, change the last-updated date above, and, where the change is significant, note it in the game.
