waddle royale — privacy policy

last updated: september 25, 2026

waddle royale is a browser and mobile game made by glorp llc. the browser sections below describe the game on poki; the app versions section describes the ios and android apps, including google admob. this policy explains what information the game uses and where it goes. the short version: we do not collect, see, or store any personal information about you.

1. information we collect

no accounts and no personal information. you do not need an account to play. the game never asks for your name, email address, age, location, contacts, or any other personal information, and it has no chat and no way to talk to other players — the other penguins in a match are computer players.

to remember your progress, the game saves a small amount of data in your browser's local storage, on your own device only:

  • your stars, rank, unlocked looks, lifetime stats, and cup progress.
  • the look you picked, and the nickname you typed, if any.
  • your settings: sound, vibration, graphics quality, and language.

this data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for the page you play on.

2. information we share

none by us. we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not receive any personal information from poki or its advertising partners.

3. network use

the game itself contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no cookies of its own, and no third-party tracking code. apart from the poki sdk described below, it loads nothing from any other server.

4. third parties

poki. waddle royale runs on poki, which hosts the game, shows the ads (short breaks between rounds, and optional rewarded videos you choose to watch), and measures how the game performs. to do this, the poki sdk inside the game tells poki about gameplay events, such as a round starting or an ad being requested.

poki and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies and process data as described in poki's privacy statement, which also explains the consent choices available to you.

5. children's privacy

waddle royale is made for players of all ages. because the game collects no personal information, it collects none from children, including children under 13 (coppa) or under 16 in the eea and uk (gdpr). ads on poki are handled by poki under its own policies for younger players.

6. your rights

depending on where you live — for example under the gdpr, the uk gdpr, or the ccpa — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. since we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access or delete. your saved progress is on your own device, and you can remove it yourself as described above.

for data handled by poki, please use the options described in poki's privacy statement.

7. the app versions (app store and google play)

the browser sections above describe the game played on poki. the waddle royale apps for ios and android are the same game, with one difference: instead of poki, advertising in the apps is provided by google admob (google llc / google ireland limited). in the apps, we ask for no personal information, run no servers, analytics or tracking of our own, and your progress, looks, nickname and settings are stored only on your device (in the app's own storage, removed when you uninstall the app).

what admob collects. to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the google mobile ads sdk inside the app collects and processes, under google's own policies:

  • device and advertising identifiers: the android advertising id and app set id, and on ios the idfa only if you allow tracking (see below), plus an identifier for vendors.
  • approximate location derived from your ip address.
  • information about the ads you see and interact with, and how the app is used around them.
  • diagnostics such as crash and performance data about the ad sdk.

this data goes to google, not to us. we receive only aggregate reports (for example how many ads were shown and the revenue they earned), never data about you as a person. how google uses information from apps that use its services. google's privacy policy.

your consent. if you are in the european economic area, the united kingdom or switzerland, the app shows google's consent form (the user messaging platform) the first time you open it, before any ad is requested, and you can accept or refuse personalized advertising. you can change your choice at any time: open settings (the gear), tap "more", then "privacy settings". where required by us state privacy laws, a similar choice is offered.

tracking on ios. on iphone and ipad the app asks, once, whether it may use your device's advertising identifier to show you more relevant ads (apple's app tracking transparency prompt). if you choose "ask app not to track", the idfa is not shared and you still see ads, which are less personalized. you can change this at any time in the ios settings app under privacy & security → tracking.

ads in the apps. from time to time, a video ad plays before a round starts (never in your first rounds, and never more than one every few minutes); after the first one, a small banner ad shows along the bottom of the screen until you close the app. every other video is your choice: saving yourself from the water, the free prize wheel, unlocking some looks and retrying the cup play a video only when you tap them. if no ad is available, you get the reward anyway.

no purchases. the apps sell nothing and have no in-app purchases.

your choices on android. you can reset or delete your advertising id in the android settings (settings → google → ads, or security & privacy → privacy → ads, depending on the device).

children. the apps are not directed at children under 13 and are not part of apple's kids category or google play's designed for families programme; ad content is limited to google's "parental guidance" rating or lower.

links. the "more" menu in settings opens this privacy policy in an in-app browser. the web version on poki contains no external links.

deleting your data. uninstalling the app removes everything the game stored on your device. data processed by google under its own policies can be managed through your google account and device settings as described above.

8. changes to this policy

if the game changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and its last-updated date.
